Design A Bridge
The children became engineers in our classroom this week. Their task was to design a bridge using a single piece of A4 paper. They set about manipulating their pieces of paper and came up with some very sophisticated designs. We tested the bridges using Draughts pieces, and when they ran out, we moved onto Connect 4 pieces. We ensured it was a fair test by making sure everyone used all the Draughts pieces first, before moving onto the Connect 4 pieces. In the end Rhia and Niamh won, with their bridge managing to hold 121 pieces. Well done to everybody.
